We would be happy to help you with any of our party planning forms over the phone. Just call! Copies of the relevant sections of your planner can be given to the appropriate staff members at your event. From the start of your event to it's conclusion, we will handle everything with professional attention to detail so you can sit back, relax, and have fun as your event sails smoothly toward Thunderous Applause!

Why does the Event Planner ask for the venue's contact names and phone numbers?

Receptions don't run smoothly by accident. Planning and coordination are required between all members of the party team. If you wish, you may furnish us with this information. Many of our previous clients found this practice helpful in creating their successful event.

What type of audio and lighting equipment will my DJ use?

An Ovation Entertainment doesn't cut corners on equipment. We use only top-notch professional sound and lighting equipment from companies such as JBL, Peavey, Denon, and Shure. An Ovation Entertainment DJs ALWAYS arrive with enough equipment to entertain in 2 separate rooms. This way, if anything fails, there is always a backup available.

What music will be played at my reception?

An Ovation Entertainment Disc Jockeys arrive at every event with over 45,000 popular songs! Each Ovation DJ has over 10 years experience taking song requests courteously. Your event is no exception! Your Ovation DJ will play songs that you and your guests request. We are the ONLY DJ Service that takes song requests online ! Everyone on the guestlist can select specific songs from any of our online music categories BEFORE your event takes place. This means more time to enjoy the party and less time wondering if the DJ has the music you like.

What if I request music that An Ovation Entertainment doesn't own?

Our music collection is extremely large, and it includes most common requests. However, in this unlikely event, your advance request for music that we don't have, gives us a chance to buy it in time for your affair. The further in advance we receive the request, the more likely we'll be able to get it. This service is offered at no additional charge, but we do reserve the right to limit the number of selections that you ask us to buy specifically for your party. We are happy to play music from CDs that you or your guests bring to us.

Will you invite prospective clients to my reception?

NO! Inviting prospective clients to someone else's reception is a forbidden practice. We respect the solemnity of your occasion!

How will my personal information be used?

Your personal information will be used for the purposes of coordinating a disc jockey for your event only. An Ovation Entertainment does NOT give out personal information to any other individual or organization!
